Course Details

Incorporating the Units of Competence

  • SRC AQU 006B Supervise Clients at an Aquatic Facility or Environment
  • SRC AQA 007B Respond to an Aquatic Emergency Using Advanced Water Rescue Techniques

The role of Lifeguard is an important one in Australian society. The appropriate supervision of an aquatic facility is vital to a safe environment. The ability to recognise and react swiftly to an emergency can be the difference between life and death or serious injury.
